Kristen, John, Linny and myself are gearing up this morning for the turkey trot on the coldest day of the year so far! Going to be a fun run….pics to come soon.

Everyone did a great job at the race!  This year’s Turkey Trot put on by the Sea Rim Striders at Terrell Park was a huge success with over 600 runners.  These numbers keep growing every year, which leads me to think that maybe SETX is starting to think about getting fit!!!

Big shout out to the woman in charge, Lindsay, for putting in a great effort and coming out with that 5th place AG spot.  Also, Kristen, representing the group with some hardware as she cruised to a FIRST PLACE age group finish!!!

Not a runner is stirring not even a… what rhymes with room?

Well. It is only sort of true. I am stirring and typing. Was over on 20×365.com making my daily update and then came over here to say HI to everyone. So, Hello from New Orleans!

Tyler (triman), Linds, John, and Kris are all asleep. I should be but thought I would write a quick entry.

We are all pretty excited about the run tomorrow. We came back from dinner and everyone was trying on their new gear, getting race numbers pinned, shoes tied, and everything set up for the morning. We have several other people from Beaumont with us and will all be sporting our new Beaumont Endurance shirts. I will post pics and stories from the runners tomorrow. Might even be able to get a pre race post going via the old iPhone.

So check back tomorrow morning as I am sure there will be something worth your click!

Ok. I should try to go to sleep now. 7am race time and 13.1 miles deserves some sleep.
